One of the many benefits of the Coles Group Card™ is that you'll receive a single statement showing all purchases made on your card. That means one convenient monthly statement with one bill to pay.
In addition, your everyday purchases and payment terms are separated from your Interest Free* promotional purchases.
As with every credit card, it's important to understand all terms on the statement.
Key terms on your Coles Group Card&™ statement
The following statement terms and their definitions are designed to help you understand your Coles Group Card™ statement. If you require further assistance, please contact us.
| Statement Period |
Each statement shows your purchases and payments between these start and end dates.
If you make purchases or payments after your statement end date, they won't appear until your next statement. |
| Opening Balance |
This is the amount that you owe at the start of the Statement Period. |
| Closing Balance |
This is how much you owe at the end of the Statement Period. It includes for the Statement Period:
- the previous Opening Balance,
- any new purchases or charges, and
- any payments you've made.
In your next statement, this amount will appear as your "Opening Balance". (If you've made any payments since the statement's end date, they'll appear on your next statement.) |
| Total Due by Payment Due Date |
You need to make a payment by this date. You can choose whether to pay the full amount of your closing balance, or part of it.
If you're only paying part of the closing balance by this date, this needs to be at least the Minimum Monthly Payment plus the Interest Free Instalment if applicable, or a Late Fee will be charged to your account. |
| Minimum Monthly Payment |
You need to pay at least this much money by the Payment Due Date. |
| Interest Free Instalment |
This is the total of all instalments due for your interest free purchases. You need to pay this amount by the Payment Due Date. |
| Total Due Immediately |
If you didn't make your payment by the Payment Due Date or you exceed your credit limit, we require you to pay this amount now. |
| Annual Percentage Rate (APR) |
This is the interest rate for your account.
It is applied to:
- any purchases you may have which are no longer within their interest free period, and
- balance transfers.
There may be other items - please contact us if you would like to find out how this interest rate applies to your account. |
*This offer applies to approved customers only. Minimum purchase, deposit and other conditions may apply.
